Our goals of the Case Studies are to share with some interesting or challenging cases with you to help you interpret the results of your patient’s tests and remind you of the underlying pathophysiology of some disease processes.
WetLabs
Our Wetlabs are designed for all veterinary staff including veterinarians, technicians and assistants. Each Wetlab is three hours long, including lecture/discussion and hands-on laboratory time reviewing specimens.

MSDS
In compliance with OSHA standards, the Laboratory will provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals provided for specimen collection and preservation. These may be obtained by calling the Laboratory or downloading (links provided below) from our site, but are not routinely provided with each supply request. This MSDS includes information such as the hazard class of the chemical, health effects, and precautions to take when using and storing the chemical.
In-Clinic Lunch and Learn
The technical staff at Phoenix Lab are available to provide in-clinic Lunch and Learn sessions on a variety of specific topics. Learn more about our Lunch and Learn series.
Veterinary Community Involvement / Seminars and Conferences
Phoenix Lab actively supports the local veterinary community in a variety of ways. They exhibit at the Alaska, Oregon and Washington State conventions and provide speaker sponsorship and other support at these meetings. Phoenix Lab is a sponsor of the Puget Sound VMA regional CE.
Phoenix Lab assists local programs in veterinary technology and assisting and medical assisting by providing speakers, instructional materials, tours and hand-on activities at Phoenix Lab. Phoenix Lab provides a annual scholarship for a student at the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine.
