Dr. Driskell is a native of Missouri and obtained her DVM from Iowa State University in 2005. She then transplanted from the Midwest to the South for her anatomic pathology residency and PhD at University of Georgia and passed her anatomic pathology boards in 2010. Leaving Athens, Georgia was difficult but Elizabeth then took an assistant professor position at University of Illinois where she enjoyed serving as a diagnostician and teaching pathology to veterinary students. After almost 6 years at University of Illinois, Elizabeth was thrilled to move into a diagnostic pathology focused position with Phoenix.
Elizabeth enjoys outdoor activities (hiking, biking, and swimming), reading, art, travel, and cooking. Most of these activities have been put on hiatus as she enjoys a full life with her son, daughter, and husband (and various furry and scaly family members including a cat, dog, fish, and Russian tortoise).
Elizabeth especially enjoys dermatopathology and ocular pathology and welcomes you to give her a call or email with any questions you might have.
